QuickBooks Private — End-User License Agreement

Operator and purpose
QuickBooks Private is operated by Crockwell Photography for its own internal bookkeeping and financial reporting. This agreement governs use of the integration. It does not govern photography bookings or other services offered by Crockwell Photography.

Authorized use and license
Crockwell Photography permits its business owner to use the integration for its internal business purposes and only with QuickBooks Online companies the owner is authorized to access. The integration is not offered to outside customers, other businesses, or the public. Public availability of this agreement does not grant access to the integration.
Permission to use the integration is limited, non-exclusive, and revocable. It does not transfer ownership of the integration or grant rights to Intuit, OpenAI, or other third-party software. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses; this agreement does not restrict rights granted by those licenses.
Functionality
The integration provides read-only access to selected QuickBooks Online records and reports through a locally operated connector and OpenAI Codex. It supports reviewing information such as invoices, bills, customers, vendors, accounts, and financial reports.
The connector does not provide tools to create, change, delete, or send QuickBooks records or initiate payments. Features available in Intuit's authorization scope do not imply that the connector implements those features. Sandbox results are test data and must not be treated as real business accounts.
User responsibilities
The owner must maintain authority to access the connected company, use the integration only for legitimate business purposes, protect credentials and computer access, and comply with applicable Intuit and OpenAI terms. The owner must also ensure that processing business records through the selected services is appropriate for the information involved.
Before relying on a result for a payment, tax filing, financial statement, or other business decision, verify it against the underlying QuickBooks records. AI-generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. The integration is a bookkeeping aid and does not replace professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
Privacy and business records
Information handling is described in the integration's Privacy Policy at https://www.crockwellphotography.com/quickbooks-privacy. Use of the integration does not transfer ownership of business records to the integration's software components. Requested data is transmitted to Intuit and OpenAI as necessary for the connection and assistant responses.
Availability and third-party services
Operation depends on the local computer, network access, valid authorization, QuickBooks Online, and Codex. Availability, compatibility, and uninterrupted operation are not guaranteed. Features may be changed or suspended for maintenance, security, or changes to supporting services. Intuit and OpenAI services remain subject to their own terms and any applicable charges.
QuickBooks Private is an independently configured integration. It is not an Intuit or OpenAI product, and its name does not imply their endorsement.
Ending use
The owner may stop using the integration at any time, revoke its access through QuickBooks Online, disable or uninstall the connector, and remove saved local credentials. Disconnection does not itself delete accounting records or copies already stored in conversations, reports, exports, or backups. These must be managed separately.
Crockwell Photography may withdraw permission to use or discontinue the integration. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes and contact
Crockwell Photography may update this agreement when functionality or operating arrangements change. The date above identifies the latest version. Questions should be directed to info@crockwellphotography.com.
